While the client had a relatively healthy email strategy, they were reporting only fair opt-in rates, which meant they struggled to capture new prospect emails. They wanted to formulate a strategy to entice more leads and build their audiences, which could form an engaged audience and conversion to first time customer.
The Flowstate team identified the opportunity to test new forms, which could build the database. Our role was to A/B test various image and no-image form variations as well as fly-outs and pop-up forms for both desktop and mobile. All signup forms included clear and succinct text.
We then regularly analysed the data from these forms to determine the best-performing sign-ups while analysing various customer spending with their predicted lifetime value.
Within the first 30 days, we reported significant growth. This included an 800% increase in sign-ups and a 588.7% database growth (month on month, new prospect emails). Based on Klaviyo’s benchmark statistics, our form was also 65.42% more effective than peers operating in the same industry.
Across the Welcome Flow which was triggered when someone completed the sign-up form, we also saw an 888.7% increase in placed order rate and a 464.05% increase in sales revenue within 30 days. Sales in one month of the new sign-up form and welcome series generated more revenue in the first 30-days as compared to the previous 5-months activity in the same flow.
