REVENUE growth from email flows

Optimising email flows was identified from our full email platform audit to be the number opportunity for revenue growth. We saw that Grand Cru was leaving a lot of money on the table with their email list and the challenge was to overhaul email flows as a key revenue driver for the business. Campaign management + database segmentation were also areas largely untouched prior to our work with Grand Cru. The challenge extended to identifying cohorts of value to send hyper-targeted email campaigns to.

With a comprehensive portal audit under our belt, we set to work mapping out a plan of growth from email. First focus was email flow optimisation. We re-imagined the main revenue driving flows using the latest customer data + updated content to support a more targeted message to each individual recipient. Onboarding and education about the brand and products was a key focus point, given the high-ticket price associated with each Grand Cru product.

Next we got creative and designed, scripted and scheduled content from Grand Cru's brand pillars to send email campaigns that resonated with the intended target audience. Engagement increased instantly, along with conversion. To support the campaign strategy, work was put into segmenting the database into cohorts of value. We also managed the cleanliness of the database, removing unengaged profiles + saving subscription costs.

1,644% ROI from email flow optimisation

The results were instant: Our flow optimisation strategy increased email open rates to an average of 57.7% and generated a massive 1,644% ROI in the first two months. Email campaigns generated a 983% ROI in the same time period.
